Why in the hell would you order from Amazon? But yeah, Oddysey was in my cd player for 3 weeks when I got it.

hehe yeah I agree with Manga-San. When I got this album I couldn't stop listening to it. Be prepared.

what the people are saying is true, you might have it in your player for a LONG time, but all I want to say, don't expect TOO much, or you might be disappointed, as this goes for all cd's.

Some Pantera-esque moments, one very very epic song, a couple ballads, and some good playing

I think you should just wait and form your own opinion...there are mixed emotions about Odyssey. See I could tell you that Odyssey is the best album ever and I love it more than any other, it is kick as heavy with beautiful melodies, but you might feel more like Soul of Ice does. but whatever

I'm pretty new to Symphony X (and metal in general)... I had heard a few of their more well known songs before, and then I purchased Odyssey a few weeks ago.... OH MY GOD! I am hooked, and if it is true that this is not their best album then I am going to loose my mind when I hear it for myself! Whether it is their best or not... if you don't like it on some level then there is something critically wrong with you (IMHO)!
