Can anyone guess the snare?

Can anyone guess this snare dimensions and maybe what brand... it sounds so good. Also everyone is saying he uses the DWSM105 HardCore Beater by DW sound right?

looks like a regular 14" snare

My drummer has a 14" snare and we cant get it tuned up that high. Its a Pork Pie little squealer which is 14" x 6", is his snare too thick to achieve this type of sound?

im pretty sure they processed a lot and maybe even sampled another snare there..

Sounds like there is a sample involved somewhere. Doesn't mean that there's a lot coming from the original snare, but it's pretty heavily processed. By the looks of it is a DW Drums (or PDP perhaps?) 14x5'ish snare. Not really sure about that depth because it looks less deeper then 5 inch

Resist is such a good song, I'm pretty excited about Instinct. So i should try to out some 5" thick snares and see if i can get it a little "snappier" sound?

There's samples all over that kit for sure. Theres like 5 mics on the entire kit in that vid ...lol There is no way they got THAT GOOD of a drum sound just off those few mics.

that's a snare drum made by Spaun Drum Company. probably 5.5 x 14
