Can someone help me? Audio question ..urgent!!

So, Im in a paranormal group, and we can find our backup files of stuff on our site. I know its possible to record audio playing through the comp with a DAW, but I cant figure it out. Can someone go onto the site and rip the clips from there and dropbox them for me?? Id REALLY appreciate it!! Im gonna still try to figure it out how to do it. The founder of the group is angry at me for some reason, like I lost the files. I just told her Id try to rip them from our site.
There a paranormal conference going on.
Please someone help a bro out!

just connect a line-out from your profire to a preamp, adjust the gain, turn the monitoring off and hit record....
