Can you copy and paste plug in settings to a different channel?

Using Cubase, I'm tired of having to memorise or write down the settings just so i can re write them on a different channel

I'm feeling lazy is there an easier alternative?

there are two small buttons in the lower left corner on the channel window, that are copy and paste channel settings

You can copy and paste single plug-ins (with current settings) in the advanced mixer view by holding the ALT key and dragging the upper right corner of the plug-in slot to the new location.

Can't you just save a preset so it will load your settings? Or save an fx chain? thats what I do in Reaper.

I dont usually make a preset for compression and EQ and stuff considering It'll be slightly different each time, I just load it all new and get to work

I'm lazy haha and always save a preset of a cool sound I have found, then I don't have to remember dick about what settings I used because I can just click a button and get the sound

that's good news! I did the same by duplicating a track and deleting the clips.
