this shit is fucked! the guy was a peaceful, family man with no previous history of violence. he randomly beheaded and mutilated the passenger sleeping next to him on a canadian charter bus while a busload of innocent "spectators" watched.

I dunno dude, I'm usually pretty willing to laugh in disbelief at stuff like this, but given how many times I've ridden charter buses with random seatmates and the sheer degree of how twisted and disturbing this act was (parading around with this dude's head), I can't find any humor or "metalness" in it, because the victim was so entirely innocent and the attack so unprovoked. I can only imagine the absolute trauma and horror the kid's parents are feeling, and it's just way too close to home for me, being around his age and as mentioned a frequent bus rider. Scary shit, I (morbidly) look forward to finding out some sort of explanation, even if it's just him claiming "Jesus made me do it" or something - at least then I'll know that he is just a total fucking nutcase.

this guy spent a few days at the mental clinic before the killing. he was crazy as fuck. its definitely not very funny, and i do not enjoy "murder metal". but i guarantee there will be songs written about it.

agreed. When I read the kid was twenty and was wearing headphones I was like holy shit, that was me just a few months ago. I would just put some In Flames on the headphones and go right to sleep. I have slept next to some straight up weirdos on the greyhound. Thankfully none as bad as that guy.

i think it may have had something to due with the fact he lived a pretty low income life, which can be very stressful. working shitty jobs for shitty pay really sucks, and i can understand how someone would lose the will to live, and have contempt for the world. then again this guy was exceptionally crazy
