Finally got drumreaplacer working! Thing is, I can't get my own samples in there. I have put some one hit samples in the drumreaplacer folder and it is not showing when i click on the drop down menu in the plugin to load the samples. The only one that shows up is the snare pipeline one. How do I get my own samples in there?

It's actually a Vista/7 thing. Microsoft decided that it's unsafe for programs to store their user preferences and stuff under Program Files\Reaper, so anything that tries to is quietly redirected to a fake Program Files\Reaper inside the current Windows user's folder.
Still confused :/ Why qualifies a multisample? I noticed the defoult drumreaplacer sample is like the same thing over and over again. I'm just using one hit samples that are like 1.5 seconds. Is that what I'm supposed to be doing? And why won't they even show up?

Well here's one of at least 4 posts from that thread that explains how to make multisamples for DrumReaplacer so you didn't read it very closely.

But since you probably won't read it, you have to make ONE wav file that contains ALL your multisamples with at least 50ms of digital silence between each one. So drag all the samples onto a track in Reaper with gaps between them and render it to one wav file. It doesn't matter what order the samples are in, DrumReaplacer compares the incoming audio to every sample in the multisample file and picks the one that is the best match.

And to find the folder to put the samples in, open Reaper and go Options>Show REAPER Resource path in explorer. That will take you to the correct Reaper folder on your computer. From there, open the "DATA" subfolder, then the "DrumReaplacer" subfolder and put your samples in there.
I got this information from reading the thread so it's quite strange that the posts that answer your questions don't show up on your computer.

Thank you very much. Makes things a little clearer. But again, yes I read that. Because I am new to this, I do not know what a multisample is. Everyone on that thread seemed to know. This is my first time using samples. Im sure you were a little confused once too. But your description was good so thank you. What if I only want, for example, one kick sample on the entire song? Do I just make a multisample with that over and over again or do they have to be different samples within the multisample?

A multi sample is the same drum piece, hit/recorded at different velocities. So your Replacement program will recognize the velocities of each hit that the drummer played and pop a sample of equal velocity over top of the original hit. This, to my knowledge, as I haven't messed with multisamples ever. It's basically to keep the drums from sounding robotic.

If you just want one kick sample then just use a oneshot sample loaded into DrumReaplacer. You don't need to make multisample files, only if you want to use multisamples.
Makes sense now! K well now i understand that. just gotta figure out how to get these samples into the plugin lol. it won't work

Are you putting them in the right folder? Make sure they are in the same folder that the pipeline audio snare is in...
Yep same folder and everything. Its a 24 bit wav that is 4.52 MB. Its in the same folder with the pipeline snare but doesn't show up in the drop down menu.
