Does anyone know if Caparison has any U.S. dealers? If so do they ship to anywhere in the U.S.?

Believe me man, if I could find a Caparison dealer in the U.S., I would put either a Horus or a Dellinger HGS on lay away...They're so damn beautifully crafted and sound amazing as well.

Unfortunately there are no Caparison dealers in the U.S. Although, I believe you can, however, order direct, which is probably a pain in the ass.

there is a caparison horus for sale on ebay right now, just search caparison

Actually, Chris Amott himself (Arch Enemy lead guitarist) said that Caparisons were "nothing special". Apparently they're no different from Ibanezes or ESPs in quality, and Chris reportedly had to do a few mods on the stock guitar before it played the way he wanted it to.

That being said, he still plays a Caparison, so they're probably not bad. Just don't expect Suhr-like quality.

I thought I read that Michael Romeo himself was looking at Caparison guitars (or maybe it is that Caparison was seeking to get him to be a sponsored player). Can't remember where I read that though. CJ Grimmarck of Narnia switched to Caparison after playing Strats for many years. His guitar playing and sound has always impressed me.

They sent Mike one guitar, but to really give it a fair try both at home & on the road, he needs more than one, so that whole thing is on hold.

I have had 2 Caparison guitars. I bought and sold an Applehorn, but my main axe is a Caparison TAT that I loaded with EMG25's. Amazing guitars indeed. I have heard many things about Caparison guitars becoming more and more crappy. Good thing I bought mine years ago.

I have 2 caparisons right now and they pretty much blow away anything else i have ever played or owned and thats almost everything. I can get whatever model anyone wants to buy. Ive sold a few on Ebay and a few just from posting on message boards. It takes me about 2 weeks to get one and everyone ive ordered so far has been awesome. The one i have on ebay right now is my back-up Horus, its in perfect condition except for skuffs on the case. I hope to be endorsed by them in the next 2 to 3 months and im going to try to become an exclusive U.S. dealer then. Mail me if you have any other questions. ihave27frets@yahoo.com
