an utter masterpiece, something i can only say for like 5 other metal albums.

that is all.

Legendary album, withstood the teat of time

****EDIT****
test. withstood the test of time.

it truly has. i only listen to it a handful of times every year these days, but it never sounds 12 years old. not that it was so ahead of it's time when released (well, in parts it was i guess), but it never sounds anything but fresh and exciting, just like right now. :kickass:

and shit, it's melodeth for crap's sake. that's like finding a classic in nu-metal!

man that felt so great hearing i had to toss on seasons in the abyss when it death certificate ended.

IT'S EARLY-90'S METHULL AT TEH NADPARTMENT TONIGHT RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!1111111111 :kickass:

damn you bastards, now I have to put this stuff on isntead of music that helps me focus on reading instead of shiny objects, the keyboard, mouse, anything other than my textbook etc.

Yeah, Heartwork is great. Just goes to show how great Carcass were when a grand album like Heartwork is their third best release.

Necroticism>>>>Symphonies of Sickness>>Heartwork

But Heartwork is still fucking great.
here's my thing, i looooooooove me some necroticism, great fucking album.

but aka SMALL NOTICE [/footbalm] :

heartwork is absolutely timeless, not knowing an age, whereas necroticism sounds like an ahead of its time 1991 death metal album. does that make sense?

either way yes, out-fucking-standing group. i love all things carcass because they were absolutely AMAZING. heartwork is just their pinnacle, at least for me.

Unlike most I also enjoyed tracks off Swanwong as well. Its certainly a different style, but "Keep on rotting in the Free World" and "Blackstar" totally rock.

yeah, except i'd rather hump walker's leg instead of hers.
Liar. You'd nail Angela, in a second, probably while blasting "Heartwork" in the backround.

Angela aint all that (she's no Christina Scabbia), but I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Zod

It's kinda funny how the good ol' originals almost always beats the newer bands.

At the Gates, Carcass, Dark Tranquillity and Eucharist >>>>>> other melodeath
