I don't know if this happens in other parts of the world, but where I live it's cool for emo and hardcore kids to wear old school metal shirts and pretend they're into metal. Like I see all these kids who make fun of metal but they wear old Iron Maiden and Anthrax shirts. They also like to yell out for Manowar and Judas Priest at shows. What's up with that?
Wouldn't it be a laugh to have a metal gig one-off with dresscode: strictly non-metal? No black clothes, no band shirts, no leather, no "spikes"... only normal shoes or wellies... and no fucking pointy-stars...
