Hello to all.

First of all I'd like to say that Katonia changed my life in the middle of a season of depression. The funny thing was that from their depressive words and sounds I found strength.

Now, I am compelled to ask what happened to the below thread?

http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=219505

Given that the above thread was really disturbing [threatening to ban people who ask or guide (non-authorized) the internet distribution of the upcoming album] I still can't see any polite nor intellectual reason of deleting the thread. I support the freedom of speech.

I happened to paste the above url and the thread to many people who are fans aswell. All of those were quite upset about the matter.

My question is this:

If the past and buried thread came from the band, why was it deleted and not just simply answered and saying it was out of line as being rude? After admitting and replying in that way the thread could've been closed while maintaining pride. I'm sorry to find th thread being deleted completely.

Does Katatonia stand behind the moderator's sayings or not? Does the moderator enjoy the complete trust from the band? If the band agreed on the removal of the thread, why was it removed?

Also I'd love to ask why the band hosted a promo version of the song 'My Twin' when at the same time the director of the video hosted a really good quality version of the video? Really good version meaning full screen video as well as impecaple audio. This happened earlier than the release of the new site featuring the new single as the frontpage.

Finally I'd like to state that I do not condone any stealing from anyone.

Katatonia, thank you for being one of the top 5 bands in my world. Also the video on the director's site was really really good. (No, I won't list all 5 here =D.)

I found the video @ http://www.charliegranberg.com/movies/Katatonia My Twin.mov

With all best regards,
