Cheap Recording interfaces

Hey guys,
So I'm looking for a cheap interface to record (guitar) with...
I've been looking at the Line 6 UX2, the UX 8 looks pretty cool too. anyone have any "better" alternatives. The max amount I will pay is around $400-500.
ohh and hopefully this will give me something to play with so I stop getting GAS for custom guitars.

Ohh and I think guitar center has a sale this weekend so a GC link would be preferred.

just under $100 (75 euros) would pretty much be a steal but I want to see what my other options are before jumping on it.

with that in mind anyone got any suggestions?
