Chris w/ New Guitar?

Just wondered if anyone had the scoop. Pictures posted over @ METAL HAMMER show Chris w/ a different guitar than his Ibanez LACS ( that we all drool over - ha! ) and this is definitely a different guitar. Regular RG body ( no archtop or reverse headstock ) and looks like a cherry or black stain with the woodgrain - doesn't look like his black or blue RG 1527's. I'm sure they'll be some better pics crop up. Don't know if anyone listened to Chris' interview on TotalRock radio a few weeks back, but he was talking about only using one guitar throughout the shows and how it was beginning to take a beating ( thought it was stange with Chris' exposure now. Wonder if Ibanez got him another????

I believe it's either a black or blue RG 1527 that he had repainted blood red. He uses it as a backup guitar. I thought the same thing when I saw some photos from that show. Only seen it pulled out once on this tour so far.

Thanks For the info Steph!! Thought you would maybe know! Guess I keep hopin' Ibanez will get him some new guitars now that he is a "high profile" player - shame for him to abuse his only LACS.
