A new initiative christians have in Manchester is to to pay people to attend church. This is because church attendence has been down in recent years.

I dont go to church or anything. I believe in Jesus Christ, but to me the bible was a book written by men and we all know that man as a whole streches things , bends truth , and just fills in gaps in stories. So I believe in the being but not what people tell me or I read. I prefer to find out for myself when i die rather then have someone tell me their interpretation of a 2000 year old book that they have no idea of how the original idea was concieved. I really hate organized religion. Im a christian that doesnt like other christains , most of them are all fake anyway and would back stab and steal the first chance they had.

It also shows you dont like to think for yourself but have someone else explain to you things that you should figure out on your own , also to give away your hard earned money , damn tithes and offering.
I dont feel that it shows your not affraid of your beliefs, I think its a cop out to feel like your actually saving yourself. Wood and stone buildings dont save your soul, the true person that lies within yourself saves your soul. God knows who you are on the inside, you dont have to go and try to prove to other people who you are. I only know a small hand full of people who are the same out of church as they are in church. Its mostly a fake smoke screen. God sees through it. People are so worried with how other people percieve them that they have to put up this smoke screen to try to ignore the fact that they are weak and cant think of the right answers on their onw. Sorry Im just really into independtly thinking for yourself.
I believe in Jesus and God and I believe in Love and understanding, but its hard to show the values when the so called christians dont illustrate it themsleves. When people from different denominations go behind each others backs just to get people to come to their churchs they themselves are missing the whole point, we are all trying to achieve the same ending in heaven so why do they fight over which church is better. Im from the Oklahoma and there is nowhere else on this earth that has more backstabbing lying stealing thieving so called christians.
