trend or not, its a tradition that must be upheld....leave the hall.

...ok ur holding a good point......tradition isent great all the time...i mean do we all wanna hear all power 80 metal bands coem back...no thats a tradition i mean in the end all this blaspemous music is a gimmick......

I think it's funny how he stole his "plastic swords" saying straight off of a myspace bands site, but nonetheless, I'm going to have to say that Horde's "Hellig Usvart" is an awesome album.

I like the two obvious ones: Lengsel and Antestor. What little I have heard of Crimson Moonlight is good too.

To me the ideology does not matter so much as the musical integrity of artists in question (even if said ideology conflicts with traditional BM ideals).

very smart i belive...from an at the gates fan(anti-relgion) i think thats open minded........you have to think that bands like firethrone are hard and can play just has good as most bm bands out there now

True black metal is overdone IMO....it's too much with the corpse paint, burning down churches, worshipping satan, etc.

I dont really have anything against it, the idea just seems strange to think about.

And i think its very unlikely that christian bm with take over traditional bm.

well kinda true....but this bm i think will be in the hearts of many people and u never know traditional bm rised above

ps just though about this the only huge reason bm rised above was the burzum/mayhem murder story

There's a spell check on here, you know
Now, as a Christian and a BM fan I will listen to these bands
I've been wanting to find some good dark Christian music for a while now
newblackways -- a word of advice
Correct spelling and grammar are gold here.
Take it from someone who knows
