Martin D-15...and i got it...i peeked. it smells nice.
i've got one of those, i love it...a little on the quiet side for jamming with other (spruce top) acoustics, but that great warm tone more than makes up for it

an agalloch tour would rule, but seeing as they've never toured before i'm not holding my breath

yah, it sounds nothing like most spruce tops, but its tone melts me. it reminds me of the acoustic that wilson uses on in absentia...if i remember, the one he used live was a mahogany body too. i love the fact that you can smell the guitar's breath when you play it...its beautiful.

I never seem to ask for albums for Christmas, just box sets. I tend to always want a specific version of an album (like the latest, remastered version), and I don't want the person I ask for it to get it wrong. There are never really variations on box sets, which is why I ask for them. All I asked for in the ways of music this year was The Beatles - The Capital Albums Vol. 1 box set, and I know I'm getting that. With my Christmas money, however, I'll be getting

Davis, Miles - Kind Of Blue
Davis, Miles - In A Silent Way
Davis, Miles - Bitches Brew
Necrophagist - Onset Of Putrefaction
Necrophagist - Epitaph
Perfect Circle, A - Mer De Noms (never got around to buying it)
Perfect Circle, A - eMOTIVE
Perfect Circle, A - aMOTION [DVD]
Rammstein - Mutter
Rammstein - Reise, Reise

As for the 2005 albums...

Kreator - Enemy Of God
The new Opeth
The new Porcupine Tree
The new Tool (who knows when this will happen... most likely '05, though)

@ MOT_

- Cynic - Focus Reissue
When did this come out?
I think I have the first one.

- Julian Bream Edition CD 20-25
One talented fucker, or at least he was quite a while ago.

- Leo Kottke - 6 & 12 Strings (vinyl)
Have you seen him live? Man, this fucker can play
All 12 strings individually. Not just in pairs mind you,
All 12 Strings Individually.
He is so kick ass.
I was a big Michael Hedges fan.:(
You seen Keller Williams?

I just ordered a couple for my Christmas. Nobody really knows me better than I do.

Berg - Lula Suite
Webern - String Quartet
Return To Forever - Where Have I known You before
and Romantic Warrior
Frank Zappa:
Zoot Allures
Thingfish
You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore V.2
Baby Snakes DVD

Won't get them till after Christmas, but it is the Waiting that makes Christmas
what Christmas is.

Christmas sucks so for 2005 I want

More Opeth live DVDs! :yell:
My Dying Bride's new DVD
New CD releases for 2005
Nightrage's Decent Into Chaos
Firewind's Forged By Fire
Moonsorrow's new one
Old CDs I want
Opeth's Orchid
Virgin Black's Sombre Romantic

there's more but who cares.... :erk:

I just ordered Paatos - Kallacain digipack with the DVD...pretty cool, I've been meaning to get that for awhile. I also ordered the Subterranean Masquerade EP...that should be cool, "progressive psychedelic metal"...right up my alley, haha.

Yeah for 2005...I'm heavily looking forward to the new Nightrage album and the new Mors Principum Est, I really loved the debut albums from both of those bands.

Ah, such a brilliant album from a brilliant band. What's on the dvd? I don't have the digipack version.
live footage of one of their shows with them playing: wont be coming back, gasoline, reality and hypnotique.

absolutely essential to own this version for a Paatos fan.
