I've just read this news on blabbermouth:

"MOTÖRHEAD, DARK ANGEL, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM and various members of KISS, DEEP PURPLE and TESTAMENT are among the musicians featured on the upcoming METALLICA tribute album, "Metallic Attack: Metallica - The Ultimate Tribute" (view cover here), due on August 3 through Big Deal Records. The complete track listing for the CD is as follows:

Anyway, I'm waiting for TL to confirm the participation of Chuck (and perhaps also Al) in this tribute. We all know what BBM are capable of (rumour-wise)- esecially as we were informed that Chuck didn't sing on it some time ago...

It seems like Chuck will appear on that album, its coming out on Aug 3rd so there`d not be misprint on several websites...

Anyway, its another Tallica-Tribute that ST members participate in (T`s as well), so it`d be the shame-to-not-to-have kind of album. At least for a cyco!

If I wanted to hear crappy versions of Metallicas songs, I would listen to the original versions.Chuck and Alex notwithstanding.
