chucks drums on new tune

okl dont flame me, i love the fucking SONG ITS SO METAL!!!

but just one thing is buggin me, is it me or do chucks drums not sound fully mixed yet? it could be just me im listenin to the tune on shitty headphones, and i cant crank my surround sound cause my nephew is sleeping.

i only ask this cause im a drummer of 12 years and done a bit of recording myself.

im just wondering if this is a fully mixed song, or a rough draft.

Oh, I think it's done MadThrax, the one thing you do need to account for is the fact that the Real Audio version became abit more run down as the day went on.

I myself have a pretty decent pair of headphones that I take with me everywhere(to work, and the same pair is used for my AugDawg stuff) and the first couple of times I listened to it at work(early in the morning on 9/11) sounded pretty dam good as I noticed as the day went on(because of so many downloads) the song got kinda beat up! By the time I got home from work and played it for my wife at home, I noticed that a couple of places in the song started sounding ruff. But, I'm almost %100 sure that the song is done because knowing Anthrax(any band for that matter), they would want us to hear a finished product.

Can't wait 2 drop some "F.U.2" on all of you!(that's the new AugDawg stuff if you didn't know)

I'm sure the album is completely done and has been for a little while now. I think the reason they released to song on 9-11 is because they really had planned on "We've come..." being out by now and wanted that song to be heard and that was the only way to do it which is very cool because it show's they are genuinely pround of this song,as they should be. (was that a run-on sentence or what?) Streaming audio never sounds perfect btw.

Yeah, streaming audio always seems to have a "tin" quality to it, and it comes out especially on the drums and bass.

well actually, i got the mp3 off of kazaa, and im sure the person converted from REAL to Mp3 made it worse.

i think it sounds better since it's not streaming audio dipping in quality to supplement for low bandwidth.

the one that I have does not waver in quality at all. it sounds great if any one wants it let me know I can put it up on my GFs website.
