You've obviously never heard Killing Technology or Dimension Hatross, two of the best cyber thrash releases ever.

I think the fact that they're being described with the phrase "cyber thrash" is the problem.

The first couple Voivod albums are pretty decent thrash. Then they're like...Motörhead gone geeky. Which is a very very bad thing. And then there's latter-day Voivod, with the pussy guitar tone and the Oasis-style vocals and the hard hard suck.
