It's kind of good to hear Steve talk about the Blaze years so positively. I for one did not like Virtual XI and barely listen to it today, but I think X Factor was indisputably Maiden and stands up quiet well with their catalogue. It might not be the best album but it was still a good release.

Virtual XI was (for me at least) forgettable with very little worth re-listening too but X Factor had songs like Sign Of the Cross (which was too long), Lord Of the Flies, Man On The Edge and Blood on the Worlds Hands which were all typical Maiden songs and they would still be good with Bruce singing them. There was no power lost on the X Factor album but metal also wasn't in the best of states around that time anyway.

LOL yeah no problem taking credit for things and inventing credit for things imagined. Haven't heard him take any blame yet though!
