Not sure what I expected from names like Butler, Stevens and Sorum but this wasn't really it. It's mellow and listenable but it's not much more than that.
Yeah not to bad for bootleg before smart phones were any good. Cool that they play three songs from Demonic plus Dog Faced Gods. Heavy set.
Hmmmm. I wanna support Geezer but this is just a little to light for me.

Yeah some of the stuff of the time is surprising just how good it is. Looking back on a few bands and hearing them play songs we now consider as forgotten classics is a good thing.

Yeah I agree, there is a bit of a Steve Stevens twang but even that's not enough to get anything jumping.

There is a lot to be said for that era of music. It's a different genre but I've gone and put 6 CD's of the Who in the car purely because I wanted something a bit more mellow and easy listening that I knew word for word. I do try and find new metal by reading through the new release lists and sampling what I can but it's very hit and miss and when it's so easy to go back to stuff like this that is available on YT it makes sense to do so.

I love me some old school stuff. I just wish my parents had been into more guitar orientated stuff when I was a kid because I'd have gotten into the stranger stuff like above earlier. But most of my really early music education was 50's and 60's rock and roll and instrumentals. Some of it's good stuff but bands like above, Taste, Buffalo etc would have been much cooler for them to be into

Damn you've sent me down another rabbit hole. I finally got around to listening to the entire clip. Then their second album popped up (all three tracks and 40 minutes) on the side links. And currently there is a number of other things in the links begging for me to open them
I might have to convert Cravinkel from YT to MP3 since I doubt it's available any more.

That’s great man, I’m glad you’re into it! I suppose it can be daunting at times to keep up with all that is out there,it reminds of what an old friend use to say to me when we would hang out Mark put something on it doesn’t have to be Heavy, it just has to be good!
