It doesn't seem like he wants to be there. Even just the regurgitated "I'd do it if the money was right" is a prick of a comment but to keep dribbling the shit he has been to the media can never win him friends or get him invites to shows. It must nearly be getting to the point where Tommy has been in the band longer than he was anyway.

Well I think lack of ability to make money from his name probably is a large reason. Ace Frehely as a brand is not selling, he can't keep a band together and people aren't coming to see him. I would imagine Gene and Paul would have been happy to have him back for a few shows, but every comment must be making it harder for them to say yes.

I read somewhere that Ace didn't sell the rights to his name and character so KISS still pay him so Tommy can dress up. I don't know if that's true, but if it is it's really not that much different to KK being on the JP board and getting money for being a shit.

Not sure about over there but over here crowds suck because venues don't allow them to go mental. Personally I don't want to get in the pit just to get kicked in the head but there are people who do, however venues need to protect themselves so they don't get their arse sued when someone gets hurt.

Yeah I do agree in part but people are also idiots these days. I've seen pricks in the pit just looking for a fight add to that the pricks that just want to cop a feel of someone else. I do think people have changed for the worse as well as rules.

I got my old denim jacket out the other day. I don't think I've worn it since maybe the early 90's and if I wasn't such a fat bastard (he says eating two donuts) it would still fit. It's got a Master of Puppet back patch and 8 or 10 other smaller patches with the likes of Maiden, Mortal Sin, Megadeth etc on it. I think there is even a few pin ons on it as well.

Yeah I used it pretty good for about a year. But it's been put away since about 88-89. I think I was 14..-ish.

That sounds awesome! I'd like to make a good battle jacket. You should put a pic of it up. We should have a memorabilia thread.

My jacket is a demin one (acid wash even ) because at the time we could only get those green woollen, I think they were, ones from Army surplus stores and when they realised more metal heads were buying them than anyone else they increased the cost to over $100. I got my denim jacket for about $40 and said fuck the army jacket with patches I'll be as cool as anyone else in denim...and of course I was because everyone else sucked!!
