Are there any good ones? I wouldn't mind checking out something like that.

Well I've never made anything from the book so that could be a sign :)
I'll find it later and get the title, pretty sure it's a permanently cheap book, and now I'm interested in what was in it.

I really wanna make a joke that if Halford has one in there it would have flaming in the title. But I'm way too mature for something like that.

So I found the book and here's a few recipes, (sorry no Rob Halford)

Jason Becker - Hummus
Alex Skolnick - Guacamole
Trevor Peres - Stuffed Poblano Peppers w/ Chips & Salsa
Millie Petroza - Pasts Terror
John Petrucci - Meatlof & Meatballs
Tom Angelripper - Hunter-style Westpha.ian Savoy Roulades
Girlschool - Motorheadbangers Hangover Pie
John Bush - Trailer Park Shepher's Pie
Bobby Blitz - Tarragon Salmon
Joey Belladonna - Orange Tequila Shrimp
Eric Peterson - Clam Spaghetti
Scott Ian - Spicy Shrimp & Sweet Cherry Tomatoes
Jason Bittner - Bittner's Brutal Breakfast Burrito
Doro - Caribbean Chicken Salad
Charlie Benante - Mom's Stuffing
Chuck Schuldiner - Chuck's Evil Chili
Dave Ellefson - Star Cookies

But the star recipe must go to Lemmy's Krakato Surprise
It only has a few ingredients a bit of flour, 1/4 bottle of Chocolate syrup, can of refried beans, spoonful of curry powder, a full bottle strawberry syrup and a cup of brandy. All you have to do is mix it all together, create a replica of Krakato, pour over the brandy and ignite it. Then eat while still flaming!

Hmm no Vinny huh?
Wow, umm Refried beans and chocolate with that other stuff? I'm intrigued and terrified and disgusted all at the same time.

Doro's sounds good and some of the others. But ugh Eric's sound vile lol.
I remember Gene saying Chuck Schuldiner was a really good cook so that has my interest up.
What's the name of the book?

Well you can see why Lemmy's is called Krakatoa Surprise. It's one surprise after another and the biggest surprise of all is if you eat it and manage to keep it down :)

Mosh Potatoes is the book. There is a shitload of other recipes in it and some of the musos I haven't even heard of so the author has dug deep into the hard rock/metal world. Although I think many of the names were made to shock rather than actually describe the meal. Eric's is pretty much spot on, it's clams and spag, which I agree doesn't sound great. Charile's Mom's Stuffing sounds odd but looks kind of okay. I'm think I might actually try a few of them now having looked a bit more closely at the recipes, the only problem will be whether the kids like them, I hate making two different meals.

Hmmm that was e-book only for $3.79 yesterday when I posted it. Looked like the print version was not able to be ordered. Now suddenly it's in stock. That's weird.

Just don't fall for the "heavy weights of metal" tag line. Some of the people in the book are barely even hard rock let alone metal :)

There was a couple in the book who I didn't even recognise when they had their band name against them which I did recognise :)
