I love the way this shit comes up every few years and how everyone's story is more truthful than the last person. But what I love more is the way most of the people arguing keep throwing the word 'invented' into the argument. Even Dio himself said he didn't invent it, yet so many people still claim it's invention was part of metal history. Occasionally when it's brought up someone uses the term "first to use it" which is a little better, but still equally as hard to definitively prove.

Well at least Geezer fixed or clarified the "invented" part. My favorite part of the complaining are the ones so hurt that Dio didn't invent it that they are attacking Geezer, saying shouldn't have said anything ... even though he was asked ... and Dio already said he hadn't invented it.
And I agree. Let's just let the whole thing go already.
