Classics Reborn

Yeah that's the weird message I see when it's linked. In FB I don't get it so it's not copyrighted on FB but it is elsewhere.
Actually I just had a thought that it might actually be a thing HM Universe did. It's not that they think they own anything copyright it's a setting they've forgotten to check when they have uploaded to FB.
Although I still don't know where they got the video from given that it's the only pro shot video of the gig I see on YT.

Given that Dark Roots had an official release (no doubt the pro shot footage in the video) I'd reckon the entire thing should be copyrighted and therefore FB should have banned the video for everyone. Maybe FB again think they are special and don't have to follow rules providing they don't allow it shared by non-members.

That actually is probably it. They think they can get away with anything. Like the hack that happened recently that they are blaming on the users. FFS.

Yeah I suppose a lot of what YT and FB users do regarding copyrighted stuff relies on someone actually seeing it and reporting it, neither company could check every video posted. But it does seem like there are times where they are really quick to off something that could be copyrighted but dead slow in other cases. There has been so many musos had their shit removed for doing cover versions of their own shit, especially during covid, it's not funny.

Yeah seriously. The guy should be up for sainthood. Not the Zakk kind ( Although I'm sure he is). But the real kind. I dare people to say he's not more worthy than a lot of them.

I'm pretty sure Zakk has given him knighthood, I think Zakk's sainthoods only go to those who have died. :)
Considering how much publicity someone like Stephen Hawkins had you'd reckon Jason should get more recognition than he does outside the metal scene. I realise they existed in different circles but Jason has done some much for music just by not giving up that he deserves something.

Their own stuff? That's so stupid. I guess that's what happens when company buy's company after company just for portfolios. And have nothing to do with music.

He really does. It kills me that he isn't all over the talk show circuit via phone or computer with his dad translating. He's really inspiring and more real than all those chumps.

Yeah I've seen guys who were playing songs they wrote in bands they are no longer in get censored, I've even seen a gardener have his clips removed because some twat complained about way he was getting rid of white (cabbage) butterfly. People complained because he was swatting them with an old tennis racket, they argued that insecticide was much safer. Instead of actually taking into account that the butterfly, which is a pest in near plague proportions, dies instantly with a tennis racket whereas the insecticide chokes it to death and is harmful to the environment, they simply banned the video because of 'complaints'.

You're right it has nothing to do with the music, if their automatic logarithms don't falsely pick shit up it only takes one complaint and they remove the item just in case.

You're right. Every time I read something about the guy I realise just how much more I could do with my life.
I can understand that he might not want to be the centre of attention on TV etc but he has one hell of a story to tell and people should hear it.
Even my wife who has turned down a terrible path of pop music, doesn't look to return to anything heavier than Poison and doesn't really understand anything about instruments stops and listens when I talk about Jason, she even watched the doco on him with interest.

I suppose for some people constantly complaining and whinning about what others do gives them something to look forward to in life. Probably also takes the focus off their life as well.

Yeah, it sucks but it can't be helped. She was never into thrash and the heavier shit I was but she's definitely lost to it all now. She's not quite into the Nu Metal, angsty teenager shit but some of the stuff she listens to hurts my ears.
