Honestly when it came out I thought it was cool that he was back and I liked it. But wasn't wowed about anything. I thought it was very basic.
But I really need to go back to it now that's it's been a few years. And I never did here everything.

Newstead wasn't remarkable or ground breaking, other than his voice there wasn't really anything overwhelming different, but it was a solid metal album and proved he had something Metallica shouldn't have ignored. I listen to the album and EP semi regularly, probably more often than I listen to Metallica.

Yeah I blame Lars for the poor sales. He probably blew the record label exec to make sure they didn't promote it well.

Overkill has had so many members and most of them have left their mark in their time. Only Bobby G wasn't amicable.as far as I know.
They should get everyone and do a celebratory album!

Overkill has had so many members and most of them have left their mark in their time. Only Bobby G wasn't amicable.as far as I know.
They should get everyone and do a celebratory album!

As we've spoken about before it seems like so much of Overkill has either been kept behind the scenes, or they didn't have dirty laundry to air. Damn, most families can't even say that about themselves.

If not an album a tour/gig would be great.
