I just like the way he chose the name because between him Ripper and Binks they were a part of JP. But now Binks has left (or maybe been pushed out) is there really a strong connection to Priest, other than KK's written for them for so long he'll never sound like anything other than Priest?

Yeah there is always the risk with two albums so close together that they wont be 100% but I think with Dev his stuff is so strange and eclectic that good and bad sometime mix to make ok
Lol Ripper has worked for so many bands by this point that they will not only sound like a poor JP but a hundred other bands as well.

The album coming out soon I think has something to do with his work in the UK for that TV show, it's not an actual sound track but I think the two are connected. That album I'm not so sure about, especially given that I read he was working on a kids TV show.

Skid Row is just a band of excuses now. They couldn't do a S/T tribute because they had soooooooo many other things on at the time. It had nothing to do with Bach getting out there before them and their current singer not being able to sing those songs. They make excuses for playing smaller venues, they make excuses for shit sales, the only thing they haven't made an excuse for is why the Dave Wright is suddenly defending them with responses to almost every comment on Blabber.
Yup, just a whole bunch of lame excuses. I'll be surprised if their album even comes out. Not that I'll even give it more than a passing listen to the first single anyway.
I saw that with DW the lame hearted. He does that with a few bands. I just skip over all his posts now. I seriously can't stand that guy. He must have gotten banned for a little bit. Last week and the week before he was posting as Johnny Utah. The fucking ego on him lol.

I don't think I have heard any SR since Bach left. I still occasionally listen to the S/T and Slave To The Grind. I've listened too (and hated) Sepultura more than I have listened to SR post Bach
