I saw that with DW the lame hearted. He does that with a few bands. I just skip over all his posts now. I seriously can't stand that guy. He must have gotten banned for a little bit. Last week and the week before he was posting as Johnny Utah. The fucking ego on him lol.

Geez it must be a really slow news day. Blabber are reporting on a fight Dave and Sebbie had which came about from yesterday's article. Dave defending himself and suggesting he's somehow superior is fucking hilarious. The guy has finally got his 15 minutes of fame and he's making statements the equivalent of "I'm smarter than Bach!" like that's some kind of achievement.

I don't think I've ever heard any of the songs Solinger did. Except maybe live once in a while.

The S/T is one of those gateway albums around here, the kids like it and I like it enough to play for them rather than listening to their crap

I've heard those Versions of their songs with the guy before Bach, they aren't the worst things I've ever heard. But Bach brought them them a few levels higher. There's a reason he's so acclaimed on those albums. He and Rose pretty much owned all the magazines in the vocal department back in the day.

But for someone who comments as much as he does I can't see how he has a job. The fact that his comments on Twitter are almost cut and paste copies of those on Blabber leans heavily towards being a paid plant.

Yeah love them or hate them Rose and Bach were the epitome of rock music at the time. Whether they wrote, co-write, or just added screams in the right place those bands would not have been as big with out them. People like Vince Neil were lucky they had come along earlier because even at his best he couldn't beat Rose and Bach. There was hundreds of bands playing GNR or SR type music, some probably even matched ability but Axl and Sebbie took their bands beyond what the others did. Axl still doesn't do a terrible job, on a good night, and Sebbie is okay at times but they are still the only ones who can do their respective songs.

I was up and my parents yesterday helping ad do some building work and I got home to find out my wife and eldest daughter had been doing Emo quizzes and listening to emo music. I was so glad not to be home

Nah her hard rock and almost metal these days consists of GNR, Skid Row, Poison etc from the 80's. She started liking shit like Breaking Baggyman and I just gave up

He may not get paid from every site, but while he's possibly being paid by sites like Blabbermouth the payment for sites like YT and Twitter etc rarely come from the company. News site (and we'll call Blabber one of those for this purpose) could pay someone to attract traffic by comments and heaps of them. But when it comes to sites like YT and Twitter what you get is secondary companies, some might call themselves advertising agencies, but it's a loose term, who are paid sometimes by the top company (YT/Twitter/Etc), but usually by businesses or social influencers etc who want traffic. Prime example is those "how to" video makers on YT, they would get emails (spam) offering likes and comments for a fee, these companies sending out the emails if successful do a deal with the video maker, the video maker pays a fee and the shitty ad mob pay someone else a smaller fee to make comments and attract traffic. The process can be adjusted for pretty much any platform that allows user interaction. These people like DW are ego maniacs and in some cases probably don't even agree with the side they argue, but if they keep the argument going every refresh of the page is an increase in traffic.
