I can't see the sales being huge either, they might be respectable but that will be a stretch too because he's burnt so many bridges and pissed off so many people the album could be the best thing ever and it will still suffer. (Maybe Mustaine should look at the book of KK).

I know the media are the ones constantly making comparisons to JP but the dude just needs to stop answering the questions and let his music stand by itself. Although if he did that he's have no one else to blame when the album tanks.

I don't blame the media for this one. He could have started a band with just about anyone. But he went and got two other members of JP and then calls the band KK's Priest. This thing is all predicated on him being Priest.

Here's my favorite part : This is not just a version [of JUDAS PRIEST]. That's where the fans are looking at this wrong. I understand that, though. This is not me saying, 'Oh, this is my JUDAS PRIEST.' [But] I don't want to dispense with the name PRIEST, because it belongs to me as much as it does anybody else… and more."

Note the And More. It's not Priest. But oh by the way. I'm Priest.
Dude you joined an already existing band that became Priest and you didn't even come up with the name.

Oh yeah I agree from that point and I understand why he did it. It make sense from a marketing point to associate himself as much with the name as he can and I'm sure most people realise this too, so to constantly deny it or make excuses for it makes him sound like a fool. But what he should now be doing is telling the media to stop asking the same question and concentrate on the band. People aren't going to forget the connections but being constantly reminded and having him make excuses in every interview is dragging him down further. He could shut the media down if he wanted too.

Yeah he seems to have forgotten that the name was one he stole from someone else while he was in a band that wasn't his. But even sillier than that is the idea that the name Priest belongs in some way to him. It's smartly worded so as not to say "Judas Priest" belongs to me, because he knows now that doesn't, but to claim ownership of a single word is just weird. However he is right about it belonging to "him as much as anybody else", and the other 48 bands listed on MA with the word Priest in their name would agree

Yes, no dispute that he's Priest as much as anyone else. It's just the (More) part that bugs me. But lets face it. He bugs me lol.

I'd love interviewers to stop asking him questions about Priest and start asking him about his golf course.

Triumph And Agony was (probably still is) one of my most listened too albums. The gigs where Doro and Tommy reunited and did some of the Triumph and Agony songs were great. I'm hoping this album is equally as great.

Triumph is pretty much the album that broke Warlock, Doro had made a few albums previous (with Warlock and Beast) but it wasn't until Triumph and the song All We Are that got them airplay all over the world.

Don't remember if you guys were fans of Kyuss or not but Brant Bjork (drums) and Nick Oliveri (guitars and bass) are back with a band called Stoner. Brant is now doing guitars and vocals while Nick is doing bass and vocals and a guy named Ryan Gut is the drummer. They've just released an album called Stoners Rule. As expected it's very much like Kyuss but at the same time it does sound kind of modern as well. I haven't heard it all but I'm thinking I might buy it given I have all the Kyuss stuff and some of their individual projects.

Blues For The Red sun got me hooked on Kyuss, I still let that one play quite regularly. For me it's mood music, I'm not always in the mood for fast and heavy and sometimes the sounds of stoners bashing notes just fits the bill.
