Speaking of wonderful images here's that guy who used to be in a thrash band but left to join a boy band!!

(to be honest I wanted to like what David was doing after Megadeth, but the Lucid is little more than radio rock and not memorable radio rock, their promo shots are cringe-worthy and the band look like they are try hards! The girl on the far right is the partner in the film stuff and the star of that shitty movie they made about people in sewers)

Sheesh. That pic alone would be enough to make me chuckle. but throw in the music and forget about it. I swear Jr better do those Menza songs right! He's kind of a pussy outside of Megadeth.

The thing is Temple Of Brutality was brutal, his stuff with Frankie had attitude, even Knight Fury and Angles Of Babylon had some metal cred so he is capable, but this latest stuff is music by numbers, uninspiring and downright boring.

Oh yeah that was shit, mostly because of Thom but also because of song choice. The F5 songs were kind of okay, but they were old songs, and AK and John Bush couldn't even save the new songs, but the theme with all his shit ones is that they are all barely metal. When he was last sacked from Megadeth the bands he went with weren't thrash, but they still had heaviness behind them. His album with Frank definitely had heaviness, power and attitude. His stuff with Thom and this Lucid band just aren't metal, Lucid isn't even pretending to be metal.

I'm probably wrong but it almost feels like after he was sacked he felt his choices were so few that he jumped on his mate whose band he was guesting on and forced him to make him a band member in exchange for financing his shitty movie.

I don't think you're too far off on your theory about the Lucid. Why else would it go from a little project for him to a full on thing?
Did he write the music for Temple Of Brutality? Or was that the other guys?

As near as I can tell (because I don't have an original of the CD), the music was either credited to the band as a whole or the guitarist and vocalist. separately. No idea why they only released one album but as well as David, there was guitarist, Peter Scheithauer who was in Killing Machine with Jnr, and he was in Belladonna. The vocalist has no other credits, but he was very growly, and the drummer who also appeared in Killing Machine is some funny looking guy you might know by the name of Stet who also played on the same Belladonna album.

Haha! No way. I didn't know Stet was on either of those.

I didn't realise he was in Killing Machine, a band that is not a Judas Priest cover band because Killing Machine wasn't a JP album in the US, but it's the first thing I think of when I read about Killing Machine.

Temple is probably one of the heaviest bands Stet has played with.

I just realized last night that I can go on blabber story and just right click on the youtube logo in the video and copy it from there. All this time I've been clicking on each individual video, going to youtube and copying the link at the top pasting it in here. Rinse repeat. Lol. What a pain.

Isn't it annoying when you realise you've been doing something the long way for such a long time

However on the flip side going to the actual link does show you the full details which often are too long for the heading across the top of the video.

It really is! I'm trying really hard to convince myself that this was only able to happen because my laptop did some long update. But I know it's almost certainly not the case.
