Classics Reborn

I know Clay did stand up but that was in a time of dial up internet here so only the most dedicated fans watched it. I only remember him from those two movies. One he plays a Rock N Roll detective with silly lines and not a great story. The other he plays a macho bodyguard with shitty lines, a shitty story where he falls in love with the chick he's protecting and a pair of tits
And the Academy award goes to!...Not Andrew Dice Clay!

They all look a bit different now. Not sure if that's a good thing or not :)
I think there was a lot of Anthrax type behaviour around that time, who invented it, who started it, I don't know but some of these guys were unsigned with little more than a few demos all playing the same stages. Anthrax did get lucky where as some of the others took a bit longer but I think the fact that there was more than just Anthrax makes it hard to make statements like we saw the other day when Blabber used the term "originators of the thrash/groove".

What's with the voice at the end of all those videos saying 'no one's seen this for 100 years', is that part of where the videos came from?
Hahaha! I don't know what is up with that voice.

Honestly I'm just gonna go with they move like Anthrax lol. I'm sure other bands were moving like that too. But when I watch the bands that I really. know. I only see them like that. Especially the bass player.

His voice has always been a bit different I guess, but Eternal Nightmare is still a classic thrash album.

Scott Ian and Frankie to a lesser degree really owned that goofy stage dance, kind of like Rob owns the crabman walk and Cyco Miko owns the run around like a crazy man and never stop move. I guess the other thing too is that no matter who started it Anthrax is one of the few bands that have been doing constant live shows all those years. Most of the other bands broke up or went on hiatus. I suppose Phil and Rob have been doing live shows all this time but I don't think Machine Head was much like Vio-lence, in either music or dance moves.

Yeah I saw that they other day and when I realised I had to read it I decided it would have to wait for another day when my attention span wasn't non-existent

I'm not good with reading movies no matter what they are, that's what books are for. I'm probably more likely to read the computer screen than the TV, but I still just think everyone should talk english :)

Pretty sure I posted this some years ago, but...eh.
I think Phil does a commendable job here. I thought his voice was completely fried by this time. And it does make me hope for that rumored line up
for Kerry's band.
