So um, how come this thread will be closed jsut because he wants Janne's tone, loads of people ask for Alexi's tone but they stay open...
yes u must buy a yamaha make sure it has speakers or else u cant hear yourself! then select gm patch 82 and put a death metal distortion on and u will sound just like janne.
I've got a Casio WK-3200 and it's got speakers. At the moment I'm trying to make it possible to suck data from the net, but I'd need tech support.. I don't understand a shit about how to use it

^how about you find your own sound, like all the fanboy guitarists in here should too. you'll be suprised how much you'd like your own sound, if you weren't too lazy to get off your ass and experiment.

you can't just plug in a guitar or buy a keyboard and switch some random effects on and say "voalla! i've found my sound!"
Maybe sounding like Janne and seeing what aspects of Janne's sound he likes is the next step in finding his own sound?
Basically, shut it shitflap. Don't just copy and paste the same generic 'get your own sound" response.

My friend uses Fruityloops to make songs, and has some effect he amde himself...he messes with the alot of settings on each effect. Im not really sure cause I dont play keyboards
He has some creative labs keyboard he just plugs into his PC and it plays back whatever effect he slects, so I dont know about uploading effects onto your Casio or whatever your doing. Korg Triton I know comes with software to edit effects, and it has the knobby things on the keybaord to ajust tone

I don't understand, in fact I'm totally out, I got this some fucking CD that should enhance the midi playing on my computer.. but whatever I do, connect the cord to the PC, nothing pops up.. as said I need tech support.
As said, once I sort out the technical side and get to the point when I actually can transport a melody in my head and store it onto this keyboard, then things will be fine.
Just heard of a guy who sold his keyboard because he never figured how to do anything with it. The instructions should say you also need to afford big time tech support.
