Guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho and bassist Henkka Seppälä (a.k.a. Henkka T. Blacksmith) of the Finnish metal band CHILDREN OF BODOM have launched a clothing line by the name of Wildchild Industries. According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-Of-Bodom.com, "many ideas for their designs come from Alexi himself, hence the name of the company. Even though Alexi and Henkka are involved with Wildchild Industries and it goes by Alexi's stage name, their products are not CHILDREN OF BODOM merchandise or strictly related to the band in other ways."

Yeh, looks very nice and I feel like ordering one of those girlies...but I dont have so much money right now and 27€ is bit expensive :/ But maybe I order one later...

"For guys we have two fits, regular and slim (which is also a littlebit longer, cos so many t-shirts are too short!!!)"

So true.

I still don't know why I would pay for those shirt...

I guess it all about taste...personally, they only have one top that I would buy:

maybe if it came in a different colour.

Because some people like how they look? And would even if they had nothing to do with Alexi or Bodom?

That's weird because when I look at that:

...all I see is "I'll make a clothing line that makes cloth with the name of the clothing line on it and people will buy it because I'M ALEXI FUCKING LAIHO AND I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF YOU DON'T WEAR ME!"

You clearly know nothing about fashion.

I don't mean that as an insult, but it's pretty ignorant to critique something you are unfamiliar with. Least of all something that, like music, is a matter of taste. Tastes which vary from person to person.

I'm not poping out of a cereal box, I know how the fashion world works, I just say that the way it's working it's boring, stupid and more than senseless.

We won't go anywhere if we say "it's all about taste" on each discussion, tho, it's good to be clear. I know that you love those shirt, you said you liked that Wildchild lettering before etc, which is ok.

But I wouldn't deploy forces to get those t-shirts, "Wildchild Industries" doesn't mean anything for me nor just a senseless text on a plain t-shirt. You can find planty of cloth that looks exactly the same but with another clothing line name on it, with more or less the same polices and colors. And blah blah

Well you say it's boring, stupid, and senseless, which is the opinion you're perfectly entitled to. It's not fact. Some people will like them, some won't. That's just how it goes for any kind of clothing.

haha this is so lame i can't even believe it, alexi starting a trendy clothes line? i really hope no one actually buys something.

Alexi and Henkka design some things, but it's mainly someone else that runs it.

And why? Don't tell me... because it's not tr00 metulz to design some t-shirts? If so, grow up. And if you just don't like them, then good for you. Obviously, some people do (just as others don't).
