Nikki I don't think you can delete paint.

Hit Windows button+R and type in mspaint. See if that works.

This paint sucks, it only comes in black and gray.

Happened to me too, its the picture not paint.
Open the picture in paint, cut the whole thing out, paste in a new paint window, colour.
