"COMMANDERRR!"... "Yeth, Captain Thiltoid?"

Hahaha. Man, I was effin ripped when I posted that.

But, yeah, that's why I love it! Its so wierd, and the melodies are cool in a wierd way. It was like he was high on kid smell or something.

hmmm... Physicist was pretty poor, SYL's self titled third album was unremarkable, and some of his Devlab/project EKO etc stuff is very strange as well.

But yes, largely everything Dev does is gold. :)

Physicist was gold ... Namaste, Material, Planet Rain ... fucking gold

it was one of Jim's favorites, before he died ... that brilliant unsung bastard hero

To JIM!!!!!:kickass:

I agree that this album is great..

but am i the only one who thinks that it's been over mastered?

The compression and distortion artifacts are all over that CD..

I hadn't noticed, but also I haven't listened to it since I got my monitors. Ironic if that's the case, though, seeing as how it has those parts that get really quiet (which make me really physically uncomfortable for some reason)

I don't really care about the production on Dev's pieces... so I still think Physicist is awesome! I don't give a shit about what Devin says about his own music. As a musician, this is the way it goes. Some of you guys might think my solo project on MySpace down below is cool etc, but I'd say it's pretty old and boring, and naturally so, since I've spent tons of time with that crap :) I guess this might be the case with Devin too, or something like it.
