Common German Expressions?

in April Im going on a school educational trip going to England for a few days, Paris for a day and Dusseldorf for a day.
I can understand French Moderately well so thats fine. But I don't know any German except 'danke schone" or whatever, s oI eneed some terms to be able to read and if possible the pronounciation if at all possible
