basically, i'm collecting three essential phrases in all possible languages i come across, and i'm sure here are a few more to be found i don't already have. and i'm not always sure of spelling and pronounciation as well, so if you see any mistakes...

1st phrase: "Two beer!"

german: Zwei Bier!
dutch: Twee bier!
spanish: Dos cervezas!
french: Deux biere!
italian: Due birre!
finnish: Kaksi olutta (< not sure about spelling either)
greek: ??? ?????? (~dio bires)
norwegian: To øl!
swedish: Två öl!
austrian: Zwa Bia!
russian: Dva Pivo!

2nd phrase: "Thanks!"

german: Danke!
dutch: Bedankt!
spanish: Gracias!

3rd phrase: "Cheers!"

german: Prost!
dutch: ???
spanish: Salud!
french:à votre santé!

hebrew: Le-Chaim!

Feel free to add/correct stuff, i'll edit the post accordingly to get sort of a reference, a quick guide to any country so to speak :) i already heard the polish variants and some additional stuff in a bar last thursday, but alas, my memory failed me somehow :D

Greek:

Two beers - Δυο μπύρες (~dio bires)
Thanks - Ευχαριστώ (~efcharisto)
Cheers - Γεια μας (~yia mas)

italian:

two beers -> due birre
cheers -> salute
are you single? -> sei single?
are you free tonight? -> if you're asking a girl: sei libera stasera? if it's a boy: sei libero stasera? (substitute stasera with domani sera if you want to ask out someone tomorrow night. if you want more latitude, learn the damn language. :p )

@cael: the very thought of "new jersey wines" chills me to the bone.

It would be better to say "Sind Sie Single?". What you said is an imperative and translates to "Be single". ;)

I can add:

"Two beers"

Norwegian: "To øl"
Swedish: "Två öl"
Austrian: "Zwa Bia" ;)

"Thanks"

Norwegian: "Takk"
Swedish: "Tack"
Farsi (Persian): "Kheyli mamnun"

"Cheers"

Norwegian: "Skål"
Swedish: "Skål"

here you go in Russian and Hebrew...

1st phrase: "Two beer!"
Russian: Dva Pivo
Hebrew: Shney Birot

2nd phrase: "Thanks!"
Russian: Spasibo
Hebrew: Toda

3rd phrase: "Cheers!"
Russian: the correct spelling is- Na-Zdoroviya
Hebrew: Le-Chaim

Spanish
Hi how are you: Metemela por el culo
May i have the time?: Eres un pendejo de mierda?
Ill have two beers: Que chingados quieres cabron.

Remember to use this when you travel, specially if you are ever in Mexico.
