common MAYH question

On the Discography section I see that Prolouge, Madrigal, and Epilouge have lyrics to them, but they r instrumental songs.

Im sorry if this questions gets repeated all the time, but I just wonder if I missed out on something?

its a concept album, so the lyrics just work at the concept, however, the tracks themselves are without vocals

i can hear those lyrics in my copy. you obviously purchased a defective copy.

Yea I guess you kinda need it because MAYH is that special album where every last word is the title to the next song. I dunno why Opeth did that with MAYH, but its pretty creative, as always.

or maybe he just named the songs after the last word(s) in the previous song.

I'm guessing he wrote all of the lyrics at once, and then split them up amongst the tracks.
