sonalksis comp is really nice, but if i remember right the attack time doesnt go THAT quick.
for drums i personally really like MH CS and URS CSP, both seem to cover most ground for me. CSP gets a lot of use on most other things for me too (1176 and la2a combo is great on vocals)

going to have to get one eventually mate, may as well get it out the way! at least then you can demo a ton of stuff too before buying and see what you like
