Computer Frustrations

Now, I'm not gonna pretend I'm a fucking whiz at the computers, I consider myself fairly competent though. But this, is totally fucking perplexing, and incredibly frustrating.

So I was thrilled when I got Diablo III, only to find out I can't even install the fucker, as my laptop's not recognizing my DVD-Rom drive anymore. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, I've tried updating it (to no avail), and it is impossible to roll it back to an earlier stage. Is there anything I can fuckin' do?

Yeah, just download the game installer from your blizzard account and install it without the CD.

I tried, I clicked "Download Diablo III Game Client", then it brought me to the page... there was a SC2 game client, a WOW game client, but no Diablo III game. I was pissed.

Never mind. I managed to find it, I had to input my key into the Battlenet website. It was a fruitless endeavor though, I need to get my laptop that doesn't have an old old video card. Fuck it.

You maybe could have made an ISO of the disk with someone else's computer, put it on flash drive / external and then put the iso back on your computer and mounted it.
