1. just decided that i'm going hackintosh up this bitch, how can anyone survive with Windows is beyond me. If anyone has a boot image i'd be appreciated

2. I have a number of photos and some of them are repeated but with different names, so i need a program to check redundancies

3. Truecrypt is totally awesome

I just got my new recording gear and software, I should try it tomorrow on my MacBookPro if I get the time, I'll let you know if it's any better than Windows 7.

So far for browsing and porn purposes I'm enjoying Mac more. Only thing I miss is Foobar2000. But I found this Fidelia program for music listening I'm willing to pay 30 bucks for.

If you have problems with it, then youre either running a pirate copy, or cant hande computer and should keep to typemachines or well... Mac's, HAH!

i know my shit, i clean every day, scan everyday, defrag every week, format every 6 months. I keep all my programs updated, and i know i get my porn from a virus free place. I know my shit.

windows is like a woman with pms

I love Windows 7. Never problems.

It's true, w7 have less problems than vista (shit), but is the same, a lot of virus from windows, still ask to us every little stupid thing like install, download or run. "are you shure you want to press ENTER?... are you REALLY SHURE??!", I don't like that. Most of us use win since children, but if the world use ubuntu, world would be a better place to live. To be so expensive, win should work perfect, but is not.

ps: I hate not being able to express myself well because of language -.-

Sounds like you are driving your woman insane with all that shit.
I seldom do any of that, maybe defrag and scan for malware once or twice a year. When I was running a pirate version of XP that I didnt keep up to date I had to scan for malware every other month.
You shouldnt complain if you arent using a legit and up to date OS.

Ive had win7 since beta, never had problems with virus. Of course I have updated OS and virus protection, right now im using Microsoft Security Essentials.

The questions about installing and running executables can be adjusted (disabled) in the UAC (User Account Control) settings, its there as a precursion for "stupid" people.

If Ubuntu or OSX was as popular as Windows is to the common users it would be just as volnurable to "idiots" as Windows is. Windows is the main target, thats why.
Still, I have never been infectid with a virus on my windows platforum, well maybe once or twice the last 10 years but my virus-software deleteted it without problems.

If you look at smartphones... according to security experts its just a matter of time until Android gets loads of problems with viruses and trojans since the appstore is so open and easy to exploit, they allready have problems. Google is probably looking at fixing this in some way or another, they have to or they are doomed.
iOS and Windows Phone that has more closed and controlled appstores are safer for now.

i never had any virus either, neither bluescreenofdeath, neither bios issues, what pisses me more is everyday stuff that goes wrong. For instance wen i close Opera, and then wen i'm going to open it again, it says that there is already running, wen in fact it isnt

also, running a antivirus have nothing to do with being legit or not, all the security updates are downloaded regardless

That has probably more to do with Opera than with Windows. Do you run a third party browser on OSX?
In fact, I used to have the same problem on Win XP when I used Opera, if you look in the process explorer you will see that the Opera process is till running quite some time after you have closed the software, so you should ask Opera devs why it takes forever to end the process?

If you run a pirated copy there is a big chance you aint getting the updates on time, or even at all.

 say to me how change the mac please, w7 say "NO FU..I..." ^^
and have antivirus, not mean w7 is good, the antivirus is good. I have friends with ubuntu and with windows, and all the work they gimme is with windows. so... windows is not better, work and is masive, but not the best.

edit: MY OPINION

i'm using Windows XP and Ubuntu at the same time. I use XP just to chat on skype (cause skype on Ubuntu is gay, and now that Microsoft bought Skype I so no hope in any improved version for it ). Ubuntu is way better than any Microsoft shit I ever used. Although I love XP.

I agree with everything said here, though prefer Android for mobile devices. I haven't had a SINGLE issue with my Window 7 computer. I run a mal-ware scan about twice a year for free, and use the free on board security / firewall. I haven't HAD to defrag once as my computer is still only 4% fragmented. I do system scan once a week though. I never get errors, I run a wide array of music programs, games(acquired in both legal and illegal matters), video programs, etc etc.

I had to save my wives computers from some serious virus / malware issues, but that is only because her niece and sister used it and are complete idiots with technology.

Google IS reworking its appstore policies/functionality however, which as you mentioned, is a good thing.

Hey Vikk, Pro Tools 9 and Cubase 6 are running pretty smooth on the MacBookPro, but nothing beats tower comps, I'm gonna have to buy some kind of pad for it because it gets quite warm and loud, fakking laptops.

my hatred for windows is not related to misuse, but some inherent problems. For instance, one of the things that mostly pisses me off happened again today. I closed my notebook lid, and then wen i opened again, it didn't wakeup from the hibernation mode, so i have to re-start every time. This doesn't happen in Ubuntu.

Nor does it happen to my Windows 7 laptop. :guh:
