I am going to see Godsmack and Metallica!! I don't care what anybody thinks of these two bands. To me they rock and that's all that matters. I have a few videos of the recent tours and they sound and look amazing. I can't wait to see them for myself.

Godsmack are insulted for being mainstream but I rather listen to them than Papa Roach and Linkin Park. At least they're just doing metal than being another Limp Bizkit clone.

Metallica, well they're a disgrace to heavy metal.

Hope you have a good time at the concert.

Cool, I'm curious how Metallica will sound to you, let us know !!
I'm going to see Evergrey and Mercenary tomorow , should be good too.

I would love to see that show. METALLICA are not a disgrace! I think they are now a "rock" band, rather than metal...but they are still good. I would go see 'em if they were in town, indeed! And much like KISS, whether you like old or new, they still kick ass live! Give us a review!

Yep, if Metallica came anywhere near SA I would break fences to see them, they woun't do a whole show with St Anger songs! Godsmack also rocks, they're almost like Metallica used to be...you Lucky Luckey man

I don't really care for post black Metallica nor Godsmack, but I am not on the "hate" bandwagon of the two. I hope you enjoy the show.

Dude(s), It was a bad ass show. It was almost like Metallica didn't even release St. Anger. Only one song from that album and one from the (re)load period. Everything else was older stuff. Few songs from the black album. James sounds like he did on the 92 tours aswell. Of course some songs were a little hard to pull off, like The Four Horsemen and Master because of Het's aged vocals. Over all, Metallica was flawless. Godsmack rocked aswell. Sulley is just an incredible musician and front man. If you haven't seen their new DVD, I recommend getting it just because of one thing....Drum Battle. Most insane thing I've ever seen. Sure many bands, such as Metallica, have attempted the drum battle, but none pulled it off as well as Godsmack. Well, it's 1:30 and I have to shit, so I'm out.

Someone posted a set list of this show on the Maiden board, wow they played Disposable Heroes, you're lucky! They also did The God That Failed and Holier Than Thou, I love those two songs.

Godsmack's a damn good band, especially their first album.

I saw this show last month at the Continental Airlines Arena...and it kicked ass. I hate Metallica's latest stuff, but I always go see them because they still put on one of the best live shows. They kicked some major ass and did a lot of old songs - including Disposable Heroes...I have a review of the show on my site if anyone cares to check it out.

This Saturday is the Shadows Fall show - not old school - but they are one of the best bands out there today, bring Thrash Metal back to where it should be...(and before anyone flames me and says they're Metalcore or Coremetal or whatever - from the band member's own mouths - they're Thrash fans and a Thrash Metal band - simple as that)
