That's most of it I think. Not too bad but there are still so many shows that are missed. There are just way too many events to see in any given year in these parts. S.O.T.U., Blackest of Black, and some other local shows missed this year would have been good to see. There was no Milwaukee Metalfest this year. Surprise surprise? Oh well. Still a couple of weeks left until '06. I might visit the annual Holiday of Horrors with Macabre, et al, but no other '05 shows are planned at the moment.

Just a quick question not to betaken as anything but mere curiosity: How much (more or less) did 2005 cost you? Maybe you get a discount or something...(?)
My list for 2005 was quite repeative :
Omnium Gatherum/ Before the dawn 12.2. 5€? + drinks
DARK TRANQUILLITY /(Cradle of Filth) / Kreator 7.3. 30€+40€+drinks= ?

@Undo: No specific dollar amount figures to offer, but I can tell you that some of the shows on my list were freebies. Two of them were free shows to begin with and 4 of them were guestlistings. A fifth one (the Exodus show) would appear to be a freebie from my ticket stub, but in that case I purchased a reduced price ($10) "comp" ticket from some dude selling them outside the venue. I told him that if it was a bogus ticket I'd come back out and kick his ass.
The cost of admission usually isn't terribly high for most of the shows I go to but I tend to see a lot of local bands where it's a mere $5-$10. Some local bands will guestlist me but it's not often and they're usually low-dough shows anyway. Most of the time the greater expenses are incurred by beverage/food/merch purchases and travel expenditures.

This guy played seven or eight songs. It was amazing. I had no idea he would be there (i thought it would be an Apocalyptica solo). He opened with "Hallowed be thy name".
