Confessions?

I don't know how to drive a car.

I think I suffered from night terrors as a child - finally realised what they were this evening when Paul from Big Brother was talking about having them as a kid. If they were night terrors then they weren't nearly as bad as the cases I've read about on the net just now - it only happened to me two or three times, and for some people it's a nightly occurence.

The first Maiden album I bought was Best of the Beast, even though I had already been a fan for ten years or so at the time.

I once wrote a short story for English at school in which I pretty much just ripped off Maiden lyrics all the way through. I got quite a good mark.

I rejoiced when Paul Keating took over from Bob Hawke as PM because I thought it would be the end of the evil Labor party. Then I realised that Labor was good and the not-so-liberal Liberals were the enemy. This was back when I knew nothing about politics (not much has changed).

I voted for almost ten years until I found out I wasn't actually eligible to vote. I've since fessed up to the electoral commission and had my name taken off.

AAAHHH!! COBRAS!!

My first Maiden album was Number Of The Beast (I bought it at the same time as Peace Sells, which was my first 'Deth album as well), and when I first listened to it I laughed my arse off. The pics in the booklet of tight jeans etc and the high vocals was something I had never been exposed to before, as I was in my early teens and was already into Sepultura, some Metallica, some Slayer, Machine Head, etc. After a few listens I got into it and really liked em. My second album was Fear Of The Dark which I really got into as well, and because of this I still have a special place for that album. I kind of went off Maiden for a while after that, but when The Chemical Wedding came out I really got into it and back into Maiden, then bought their whole back catalogue along with Bruce's solo stuff. I loved The Chemical Wedding that much.

:OMG:

Exactly the same as me. Picked them both up together at a CD stall at Chadstone for $10 each one day coz I wanted to hear what both bands sounded like.

I think a couple of people who frequent the MD and the Dungeon forums are hot stuff.
When I was in year eight-9 I had the ultimate mullet cut.....permed and all.
I have 3 Frank Sinatra cd's
I have a Cat In The Hat dinner set, pyjamas, plush toy,egg cup and coffee cup
I once gave up Faith No More back stage passes for dinner with my mum.

I had Faith No More backstage passes when I was younger. I wasn't a fan and didn't know what to talk about so I asked them if they like KISS and talked about KISS.

Stop it... you're embarrasing me!

Ok a couple more confessions....

- People I went to high school with that I still talk to = 0
- People I went to TAFE with that I still talk to = 1
- Care factor that I didn't keep any "friends" = -100
- I didn't "properly" kiss a girl until earlier this year
- I don't drink alcohol... although I can, I just choose not to
- I've been in love once.... and it ended so traumatically that it sent me into a two and a half year depression
- I'm overweight due to the previously mentioned depression

when I was four, I went to PRINCE ALFRED COLLEGE in Adelaide which is all distinguished... and I needed to take a piss. And just as I got in the stall, I didn't make it in time and pissed all over the floor. Then I sat on the bowl not knowing what to do for like 10 mins... I was so embarrassed. Then some kid popped his head under the door and got his head covered in urine. The embarrassment was off of me \m/

I can't drive either, Spiffo. With my trusty book of 75% discount vouchers, it's cheaper just to get taxis everywhere :).

Southy, I spent all my high school lunch hours in the library reading comics and all my weekends in front of the telly. A sad youth that has since turned into an equally sad late twenties .
