Wierd thread. What spawned this?
Anyway, yeah, annoying ill-behaved children are a result of bad/poor/lazy/ignorant parenting. However, children lack impulse control and are prone to go from extreme high to extreme low within a minute. They can't help it.
Not having children surely sucks hard when you're 50 and realize WOOPS TOO LATE! and you end up living a very lonely existence until you die at 80. Not having children UNTIL you're 40 probably sucks too. Your 20s are your best years but no one ever tells you that while you're in them.

I'm sure theres a sweet spot between 7 and 11 where they are fun. But beforehand all I've ever seen is loud, smelly, loud, or sleeping. After this sweet spot, comes teenagers. Which can be good, but the way society is spiraling downwards, are just as likely to be a piece of shit. Thats another fear, if I had a child and it became some sort of gangsta/thug/goon/blooding fucking moron(I don't mean intelligence-wise)... I'd have to kill it.

Are you just basing all this on people you see with their kids in the supermarket for only a few minutes out of their entire existence, or have you dealt with a younger sibling or relative at any length? A lot of important lessons can be learned that way. But I guess if you've tried all that and still don't like children, that's nothing you have to apologize for.

Nah, I just hate people gushing over children. It annoys me. The people who go OMFG CHILDREN are worse(more annoying) than the children.

Yeah, the only kid I can even stand is my niece. She's way too smart for a three year old. It amazes me sometimes the stuff she'll say.

I can't stand my nephew, even when he's behaving. He can speak now, and is rather smart and on the ball... still can't stand him.
