Here's my 'lovingly cobbled together from bits and pieces' Ibanez 7 string. It's kind of a work in progress, but sounds pretty good.....

I play an Epiphone Les Paul Classic, with an EMG 85 in the bridge, stock Gibson USA pickup in the neck. I've removed the pick-guard and now it looks even more beautiful.

The only thing I can't discover is the right action and inotation. Aside from that the guitar sounds and plays beautifully.

Mendel - Yes, it's an Ibanez. Originally an RG7621. It plays well, but I think I prefer the ESP (see pic).
Nitronium - A local luthier/guitar maker actually put it together for me after I acquired all the bits, then another chap who restores guitars etc did the routing/electronics afterwards. Assembling furniture from Ikea is about as far as my skills go

Thanks for posting a picture of the Ibanez universe 777 (the one with the mirror plate on the right) that's my main guitar, it may not be a custom guitar, but it is still a hot rocking metal guitar
