Cover songs?

Here's another vote for taking a non-metal song and metal-ing it up, Kiuas style.

Christ, Children of Bodom covered Britney Spears; maybe you could do a Backstreet cover. :p

since there has been no post on here in a while thought I would try getting it going again.

Crematory did a great cover of sands of time a kiuas version would be amazing

how's about... a moonsorrow song :D haha

i don't particularly like the idea of pop songs being covered.. it seems a bit.. commercialised to me, but CoB DO do a good rebel yell

perhaps lol... cover a dance track ! some prodigy perhaps, keyboard wankery would work well with dance ! :p

I think you guys would do a fantastic cover of 'Journeyman' by Iron Maiden. If you made it a little heavier (only a little) and kept that acoustic, folky element to it, it'd be so damned good.

Ever since Mikko suggested to me to get Jethro Tull's Stormwatch, their song Kelpie has become a favorite song of mine. I would love to hear a Kiuas cover of this track. Just listen to that chorus!

hmm, that tull song would be awesome, I would say you guys should cover some classic prog rock, 21st century sciziod man anyone?

Epic doom metal! Seriously, the vampire-doom ending in The Discipline of Steel is so awesome that you need to do something in this vein again someday.

Wonderlust King by Gogol Bordello would be awesome, but might not fit so instead this much more metallish song just can't go wrong.

I'd love to hear In the Hall of the Mountain King in the Kiuas Style. But for more contempory songs to cover could be The Trooper by Iron Maiden and/or Sympathy for the Devil by Rolling Stones  .
