Hey guys, I'm having some issues with CPU overload in Cubase 5. It's happening when I load a single VST instrument so needless to say I cant get anything done. My current processor is the same one that came with the system back in 2007 (intel dual core 1.8 Ghz) .. I know this is weak as fuck but I'm just wondering if all I need to do is upgrade the CPU chip to get rid of this problem?
I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit) , 4 GB RAM so I think I'm alright on that front. I know it's a n00b question
