I would've picked some tougher tracks if it wasn't about your GF
You see, I've started with Prologue, for a nice start and a false silent atmosphere, what I see Opeth do a lot, from the time I know them.
Then I've proceed to Face of Melinda, one of Opeth's most awesome ballads, 'cause we don't want to start the album too aggressive now, do we?
I chose Bleak for the third song for it is still not a very heavy song, still more clean vocals than growling and yet it is still the beginning.
Fourth is GoP - on the fourth song you can allow yourself to put a rather stable song, and GoP is a masterpiece, as you probably know
Fifth (To Rid The Disease) - Actually I must confess that I chose this one only because it would have been pretty damn heavy to have BWP right after GoP, so I thought "why not put a really nice ballad in between?"
Sixth (Blackwater Park) - Awesome song, kicks ass, my personal favourite Opeth track.
Seventh (When) - Just a masterpiece - a bit mellower than BWP (IMO), just in the right extent to mellow the album for the ending.
Eighth (The Lotus Eater) - A little taste of their latest work, very cool song and very complex as well.
Nineth (Isolation Years) - Another beautiful clean-only ballad (My personal favourite Opeth ballad).
Last one - Epilogue. Most beautiful instrumental song I've ever heard, it gives me such goosepox! that's all I can say about it.
Hope I didn't write too much
