Opeth 2009 Tour Prediction/Dream Setlists

With the 2009 tour starting up this Friday, I thought it would be fun to see what your predictions for the setlist may be, and what your dream setlist for the tour would be. Since Opeth have already toured for Watershed, I think some of those songs will get cut. Heres the setlist I would love to see:

Oh cool, I didn't know that. I think they were planning on doing Hessian Peel for sure, and probably burden. I hope we get some more Still Life tracks and BWP!

I'll be damned if the setlist is ruined. I don't wanna know shit going in.

Mike mentioned rehearsing Burden, Harlequin Forest, The Moor, and Karma so we can assume they'll be trying at least some of those. I would guess they continue with Leper since Fred's comfortable with it now and they played Drapery/Bleak last time. And I would assume the song they're keeping is Heir Apparent or Lotus Eater; if Mike is the kind of guy to play his favorites, it'll be Lotus Eater, but Heir Apparent is more of a fan favorite so it could go either way.

This would be my dream setlist if I was going - and obviously it's not going to be this for reasons mentioned above and just because they may never again grace us with Forest of October or Moonlapse Vertigo or The Funeral Portrait

^ Awesome, I would love to have all of those you mentioned played. I hope they open with The Moor, or Leper to just kick our asses in right from the beginning. Heir Apparent or Lotus Eater would be cool, i'm still hoping for Hessian Peel though. Burden will be fun, seeing Mike and Fred shred that solo, and Per rock the keys.

Smart man. I made this mistake the first time I saw them (February '04). I knew the entire setlist going in. Big mistake.
