Cool project from the drummer of Electric Wizard. Pretty spacey trippy rock. Space doom stoner progressive etc. Maybe for fans of the quieter side of Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Anathema, Pink Floyd, VdGG, etc. Good morning chill music.

One of my favorites from the 2010 I, Vigilante album:

And a track from the new 2012 (Mankind) The Crafty Ape album:

And a really good Journey cover:

Listened to the first disc of the new album earlier today, really cool stuff! The band also has ex-members of Portishead and Mogwai

Its not often Glann posts a couple of nearly back to back tweets about the same band in the same week. When he does it usually gets my attention. He did so this week concerning this band: Crippled Black Phoenix.

So I thought I'd search the ProgPower forums, and here we are. For those interested..

Laser CD (aka Laser's Edge) have it:

CBP has a Bandcamp page loaded with their music too:

Even lowly eMusic has an album of theirs, but for how long, who knows?
